Celine Dion I saw my doctor today about a little thing that I have been a bit concerned about...turns out that I am just fine! Hooray! Still keeping my fingers and toes crossed about another thing that I want very badly. I went to get my hair highlighted today, and the girl (who was VERY nice and cut my hair for free...thank you SO much, Molly!) was playing a Christmas CD, sort of pretty classical type Christmas music, and I was enjoying it, and when Ave Maria came on, she turned it up, and was like, "I love this song," and I was like "Oh, I do, too"...(I really do)...and then she said, "I love Celine Dion" It was like when something big comes crashing down in a movie...I was like (quavering voice), "Is...is this Celine Dion?" and she was like, "Yeah! I love her!" OMIGOD!!!!! I was enjoying a Celine Dion album!!!! I felt...dirty...violated... But later on I was vindicated when I heard Celine's version of "Feliz Navidad"...horrible...beyond horrible. Even my hair girl, Molly (who LOVES Celine) was like, "This song is a little weird for her." Yeah, pretty much just wrong in general. (But, her version of Ave Maria was really nice...don't tell anyone that I admitted to that, though!) Miss These?
